Caring for a loved one can be a daunting task. If you're helping with the housekeeping, buying groceries, or regularly performing other personal tasks, it doesn't take much before you can feel you're stretched too thin. It can be a an enormous responsibility. But you don't have to go it alone; there is help available to you. The Powerful Tools for Caregivers Workshop is an educational program designed to show you how to care for yourself while caring for a loved one. You will learn how to reduce your stress and tap into valuable resources to help you in your caregiving role. During six weekly sessions, we'll learn how to: reduce stress, balance life, make tough decisions, improve self confidence, better communicate feelings, and locate helpful resources. When caregivers take care of themselves, EVERYONE benefits. Check out our next class on Mondays from September 10 to October 15 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM in partnership with Martinwood International.
